Training Program
The expertise and knowledge base of the instrumentation service provider is critical to maximizing the uptime and productivity in any laboratory. Whether the service specialist is coming from the OEM, a third party or an independent individual, it is essential to understand the details and depth of the service provider’s training program . See an overview of Pace's inclusive training program:
- New service specialists are carefully selected based on their science background, keen interest in understanding how mechanical things work and their attention to customer service.
- New service specialists start with instrument training in their core competency. They work closely with a mentor throughout a six to eight week period on theory, basic operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, qualifications, testing and more.
- Once the trainee demonstrates proficient skills in-house and in-field with supervision, training documentation is finalized, and the trainee begins to make calls independently.
